Eagle Scout Project - Tree Planting -
The entire SJYBA family would like to give a big THANK YOU to Matthew Kelly for his efforts and coordination to get new shade trees planted at the ball fields. Matt completed the plantings as part of his Eagle Scout project and spectators will be able to enjoy much needed shade at the ball fields for years to come. Matt had to go out and solicit sponsors/volunteers for all of the labor and materials and we would like to recognize them all.

2015 Travel Team Tryouts -
If you are interested in trying out for next years St Johns travel baseball team please email the coach (contacts below) for your child’s age division directly with any questions you may have regarding the Travel Baseball Tryouts. Team is based on your child’s age on or before May 1, 2015.

Special Olympics State Softball Tournament
Last weekend the Special Olympics State Softball Tournament was held at the SJYBA fields and it was a great weekend with a wonderful group of athletes and volunteers. There were 10 teams total along with a skills challenge and SJYBA had a group of volunteers who took care of the fields helped out where needed.
*Special Thanks to Jim Lawless, Todd Gilroy, Dan Dorn, Chris Mulligan and Dave Rademacher for helping out at the tournament. Jim and Todd also worked all week on the fields to prep them for the weekend tournament.

The SJYBA website is now online. Here we hope you will find it to be a source of information to answer your questions and keep you up to date on schedules, time lines and other important information regarding SJYBA activities.The site will allow members of the board, league directors and coaches to more quickly update information in order for parents and players to better plan for the summer baseball season.
The current events section will always contain the latest information the the baseball and softaball year. Sometimes some information may be outdated and refect last years information. If you are looking for the most current information then look here in the Current Events menu.
In-addition to a new site SJYBA has implemented a mailing-list. This mailing-list contains the emails of current players emails addresses. Since this has just been implemented this year the list may not have your email address.

Easily Printed or E-mail Website Information
Our new site also gives you the opportunity to save and print information like game schedules and practices easier than our old site. Each page you visit you will see three small icons, Adobe, Printer, and E-mail, to the right of each article. From here you can click on the Adobe icon to turn that page into a PDF that can be saved on your computer and printed. The Printer icon will open a printer dialog window on your computer to print the document immediately. The E-mail icon will allow you to email the article to any email address you desire.
